Mark Kline
Mark B. Kline is proud to be a second-generation agent for New York Life Insurance Company. Following in his father’s footsteps, Mark started with New York Life right out of college in 1982, and built his business from the ground up. Specializing in financial and estate planning, Mark works with a variety of clients in all types of industries, throughout a number of states. He is just as comfortable delivering a presentation to a group of bankers in a polished boardroom as he is discussing business plans with a farmer while checking out the crops in the field. Mark is especially proud of the relationships he has made throughout the years - clients become friends, and the mutual trust and admiration that develops is a proven formula for mutual success.
Mark grew up in Vicksburg, Mississippi, and is very proud of his family’s heritage and reputation throughout the Mississippi Delta. The Kline store was a staple of the community, and his grandfather instilled in him the value of hard work, and the importance of treating people with respect and humility. It is those values that Mark still turns to in his professional life today.
Upon his graduation from Tulane University in New Orleans, Mark recognized the value of the career his father had chosen to pursue when Mark was just a year old. Becoming an agent with New York Life Insurance Company presented a great opportunity for Mark, not only to hone his business skills, but also to utilize his natural ability to connect with people, and help them achieve the peace of mind and financial protection they seek.
Mark is proud to have been the New York Life Council President in 2010. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table* (MDRT), a Lifetime Top of the Table Member, and in the New York Life Chairman’s Cabinet Hall of Fame. He has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, and is consistently ranked among the top producing agents at New York Life. Mark is also a big proponent of giving back to the community. He is a generous donor to many causes, and never hesitates to lend a hand where needed.
When he is not at work, Mark is an outdoor enthusiast, and enjoys traveling. Mark has an affinity for many genres of music, and is an avid collector of vintage, rare stringed instruments. Currently, he enjoys spending time with his family in his backyard, enjoying a beautiful lakeside view.
